Give furniture and furnishings a longer life

Take good care of your furniture – it’s a wise investment for both the planet and your wallet. It’s also essential if you want to sell them on the second-hand market. Updating your furnishings doesn’t have to be expensive, time-consuming, or complicated. Quite the opposite – in fact, simple but effective changes can make a big difference and extend the life of your furniture and interiors. We have extensive experience within this field and are happy to help.

What can refurbishment look like?

The term is broad and can include various measures, all aimed at maintenance that extends the lifecycle of your furniture. Moreover, updating the appearance of your furniture so it feels like new also contributes to a positive overall impression of your business.

No upgrade is too involved; we find solutions for almost everything. In most cases, refurbishment involves the following stages:

Refreshing

We clean and wash upholstered products. By treating the furniture with protective finishes, the overall lifespan is extended, and the need for cleaning is reduced.

Furniture reupholstery

Worn padding or torn fabric on, for example, an armchair, is replaced with new material—perhaps with antibacterial properties.

Refinishing

Scratched chair legs or worn tabletops receive a new surface. There are vast options with endless NCS and RAL colour choices.

Renovation

Parts that have been heavily worn can be replaced. Everything from tabletops—perhaps in sound-absorbing or antibacterial materials—to new wheels for office chairs.

Customisation

We adapt furniture to new technology. For example, a conference table can be equipped with power and USB outlets to work with the latest technology.

Mindful choices and responsible renewal

Greenified offers services that enable mindful choices and responsible renewal. We have extensive experience of re-use in both large and small projects.
Rather than ready-made package solutions, we can adapt any project to match your needs and expectations. Our re-use concept includes:

  • Assessing existing furniture and providing recommendations on what can be reused during a move or reorganisation. At the same time, we ensure that you get as much as possible from furniture that is no longer of use to you but can be given a new lease of life elsewhere. Read more about Greenified Inventory here.
  • Renovating existing or pre-owned furniture. Furniture is refurbished to return it as close to its original state as possible by measures such as washing, reupholstering, or replacing parts.
  • Transforming furniture and furnishings into products with new functions through redesign.
  • Recycling Once furniture is worn out and no longer fit for purpose, we can recycle it in the most eco-friendly possible way.
